From Garden State Parkway Take Exit 145 (Rte 280) Follow Rte 280 East to the Harrison Ave Exit (immediately after bridge) Make a right at second light onto Harrison Ave and then at 2^nd light make a right onto Passaic Ave (before bridge). Continue on Passaic approx 2-2 miles until you go under the train trestle. Make first right after trestle onto Laurel Ave. Go to top of the hill & make a right onto Hillcrest. Go one block & make a left onto Washington Ave. Then a left onto Washington Place & see club.

Head east on South Orange Avenue, until reach the first major intersection in a couple hundred yards. There is the village hall on the left and an office building on the right. Turn left onto Scotland Road. Travel north on Scotland through South Orange and into Orange. In about 1.1 miles, turn right onto Tremont Ave. (If you hit Highand Station, you've gone too far.) Go up the hill, through the traffic light. In a couple hundred yards the courts are on the right side of the street. Parking is available on the street.

From Main Street in West Orange and Orange:
Turn right onto Scotland road if you heading east, or left if you are heading West. There is a large church at the corner of Scotland and Main Street.Go south on Scotland Road through Central Avenue and past Highland Station on the right. About .6 miles after Central Avenue, turn left onto Tremont Ave. (If you see signs for South Orange, you've gone too far.)Go up the hill, through the traffic light. In a couple hundred yards the courts are on the right side of the street. Parking is available on the street

Take Rt. 80 East to Rt. 280 East to Exit 4A (Eisenhower Parkway).  Follow Eisenhower Parkway South to the end. From 23N and 23S: 

At Pal's Cabin - if coming South take a right, if coming North make a left - onto Eagle Rock Avenue.  Continue straight through 4 lights (you will now be riding with the EFCC golf course on your right).  After the 4th light about 1/2 mile up bear right on Old Eagle Rock Avenue.  Make first right on Devon, clubhouse will be on your right.

From Eisenhower Parkway:  Make right onto Eagle Rock Ave.  Continue on Eagle Rock Avenue through Roseland Center.  Continue up the hill - pass traffic light.  Make thrid left turn onto Old Eagle Rock Avenue.  Make first left on Devon Road.  Parking lot is 200/300 feet on right.

From 46 East

to Bloomfield Avenue (toward Newark).  Follow through Caldwell.  Turn right on Fells Road. Take a left on Devon Road and follow almost to the end.  EFCC is on the left just before the end of Devon Road.

From 46 West

to 23 South (Verona service road).  Contine on 23S through Cedar Grove (Pompton Avenue) to Verona.  Turn right at intersection where 23S meets Bloomfield Avenue (511).  You are now on Bloomfield Avenue West.  Go through 6 traffic lights, turn left at seventh light (Fells Road).  Bear right on Fells Road - follow to Devon Road.  Follow Devon Road almost to the end - EFCC is on the left.

The club is about 1/2 mile south of Bloomfield Avenue and about 1.5 miles west of the Garden State Parkway near the Glen Ridge/Montclair border.  Woodland Avenue is a relatively short street that runs parallel to Bloomfield Ave. for about 3/4 mile.  Only one court is visible from Woodland, but a long wooden wall is clearly visible on the side street (Willowdale).

From the GSP:

Take Exit 148 (Bloomfield Ave.)  This exit is not straightforward from either direction.  From GSP North: There is no left hand turn onto Bloomfield Ave. at the bottom of the ramp so you cross over Bloomfield Ave, staying left, you loop back (facing south again for 1/2 block) and then turn right onto Bloomfield Ave. at the Shell Station, heading west.  (Not as bad as it sounds)  Skip to below.

From GSP South:  This exit takes you off of the GSP about 3/4 mile before Bloomfield Ave.  Just stay on the road parallel to the GSP going south (it's sort of a suburban service road) until you come to the Texaco station at Bloomfield Ave.  Turn right, heading west.

From Shell:  Proceed 0.9 miles west through Bloomfield Center until the seventh traffic light (lights are bunched in Blfld Ctr).  Turn left onto Ridgewood Avenue (heading south).  Take the second right (pretty quick - after the PNC bank) onto Woodland Ave.  Proceed up the hill for about 1/2 mile.  The club will be on the left across the street from Glenfield Park.   

From points west not using the GSP:

Take Bloomfield Ave. east through Montclair.  After crossing over the railroad tracks (pretty obvious) on the east side of Montclair and  passing Montclair/Bloomfield Ford (on the left), turn right at the next light onto Freeman Parkway.  (Parkway House apartment building on the corner)  Proceed 1 block to Woodland Avenue.  Turn right.  The club will be about 1/4 mile on the left across the street from Glenfield Park.

From West: Take Route 24/78E. Stay right in Local Lanes to Exit 49B (Maplewood). Ramp onto Springfield Ave. At second light make left on Vauxhall Rd.  Follow directions above to Ridgewood Rd.

Coming from the Green in Morristown, take 24W for about 5 miles and look for Kenneday Rd on left. Turn left onto Kenneday, go about 1/2 mile and look for club entrance on the left. From 287 NB:   Take Exit 52A to Route 23 South.  Go 4.8 miles to the Packanack Lake Road exit (look for Exxon stations on both sides of the highway; you will have to go by the exit and take a cloverleaf back to the intersection, at which there is a traffic light); cross Route 23 and proceed on Packanack Lake Road; in about .3-.4 miles you will have to bear right at a fork and then proceed straight through an intersection (Fire House will be on your right; a dam will be on your left); continue for another .2  miles to tennis club, which will be on your right.

From GSP North:  Take Exit 153B for Route 3 West; continue on Route 3 until it merges with, and becomes, Route 46 West; take the exit for Route 23 North (about 3.7 miles from where Route 3 becomes Route 46); proceed north on 23 for 3 miles, until you get to Packanack Lake Road exit (first traffic light; Exxon station will be on your right); come to a little jog in the road; proceed on Packanack Lake Road; in about .3-.4 miles you will have to bear right at a fork and then proceed straight through an intersection (Fire House will be on your right; a dam will be on your left); continue for another .2  miles to tennis club, which will be on your right.

From the Oranges
Take South Orange Avenue to Wyoming Avenue.  Make left onto Wyoming Avenue and take it to second traffic light (Millburn Avenue).   Turn right onto Millburn Avenue and proceed on same road through three traffic lights (note that road will become Essex Street (where Millburn Avenue becomes one way the wrong way) and then becomes Millburn Avenue again on the other side of town).  At Short Hills Avenue make a right (St. Rose of Lima is on the right corner and the Chanticler is on the left corner) proceed under railroad tracks.  Club is straight ahead.

Take NJ Turnpike North to Exit 10 (Route 287 North) to Mt. Airy Rd/Bernardsville/Route 202 – Exit 26B.  Make right onto Mt. Airy Road and follow into Bernardsville Center.  At light cross Route 202 and follow in same direction to Anderson Hill Road.  * Take Anderson Hill Rd. for 3.8 miles; past a big sign “Sisters of Christian Charity” start to look for Bliss Rd. on left.  Make left onto Bliss Rd. and continue for one mile.  Club is on the right just before a “30 mile an hour speed limit sign”.

FROM ROUTE 78 EAST OR WEST

Take Exit 33 Mt. Airy Rd.  Follow into Bernardsville Center.  At light cross Route 202 and follow in same direction to Anderson Hill Rd.  * Take Anderson Hill Rd. for 3.8 miles; pasta big sign “Sisters of Christian Charity” start to look for Bliss Rd. on left.  Make left onto Bliss Rd. and continue for one mile.  Club is on the right just before a “30 mile an hour speed limit sign”.* Anderson Hill Rd. From North or South Jersey using NJ Turnpike: Exit 14 to I-78 West  (Express or Local) for 8.5 miles. Follow signs for Rts. 24/124, marked exit 48. Go 1.5 miles to 2nd exit (Hobart Ave). Turn right at light, go 1/2 mile to Hartshorn Dr (school at corner). Turn right, go .9 miles to Highland Ave. Turn right, go .4 miles to Lake Shore Drive. Turn left (sign at corner for Short Hills Club).

From North Jersey using GSP South: Exit 142 to I-78 West. 5 miles to Hobart Ave exit from Rt. 24. Follow as above.

 From South Jersey using GSP North: Exit 142 immediately after toll to I-78 East. STAY TO THE RIGHT! Go towards Newark 1/2 mile to first exit #54 (Hillside/Irvington). Loop back over highway, entering on the right for I-78 West (signs may be missing). Proceed 6 miles to Hobart Ave exit from Rt. 24.

From Eastbound Rt 78: Take exit 44 (New Providence, Berkeley Heights). Go  left at light at end of ramp. Take next left at sign for New Providence. Go under highway and up Glenside Rd to light on Mountain Ave. Go right on Mountain Ave for about 1 mile. Turn left on Division Ave.  The sixth street on right is Sunset Drive to club's entrance.

ROUTE 287 NORTH TO EXIT # 53, POMPTON LAKES. TURN RIGHT AT END OF EXIT RAMP ONTO HAMBURG TURNPIKE. STAY ON HAMBURG TURNPIKE APPROXIMATELY THREE MILES AND TURN LEFT ONTO ROUTE 202. THERE IS A TRAFFIC LIGHT AT THIS INTERSECTION WITH A CVS PHARMACY ON THE FAR LEFT CORNER OF THIS INTERSECTION. TAKE ROUTE 202 TO FIRST STREET ONTO WHICH YOU CAN TURN RIGHT, THIS IS COLFAX ROAD. WAYNE RACQUET IS APPROXIMATELY TWO MILES ON THE LEFT OPPOSITE A CHURCH.

Take Route 22 West into Springfield.  After Barnes and Noble, Bennigans and Linens and Things, go under the overpass, and take S. Springfield Avenue exit (County 509) south toward Westfield.   Proceed over Route 22 to third traffic light (approx. 1 mile) and turn right onto E. Broad Street.  Continue toward Westfield for 1.2 miles.  Turn right on N. Chestnut Street.  Club is one block on left. 

From Garden State Parkway.

Exit 135 onto Central Avenue toward Westfield.  Continue to end of Central Avenue (under RR tracks, and past total of 7 traffic lights--approx. 3 miles), and turn right onto E. Broad Street.   Go 0.6 miles and make a left on N. Chestnut Street.  Club is one block on left.
